A 501(c)(3) nonprofit
Bridging the digital divide, one laptop at a time.
We collect surplus Chromebooks from US schools and give them a second life in Colombian classrooms — empowering students and teachers with AI and digital literacy.

Refurbished, not landfilled
We extend the lifecycle of working hardware by 3–5 years instead of sending it to e-waste.
Skills for the classroom
Devices arrive ready for lessons so the tools translate into real student skills.
501(c)(3) nonprofit
Transparent operations, measurable impact reports, and recognized 501(c)(3) status from the IRS.
The lifecycle of impact.
Collect
We partner with schools, companies, and individuals to recover working computers scheduled for decommissioning.
Restore
Every device is securely wiped and repaired so it's ready to go. Schools use the Chromebooks with the Google for Education tools they already know.
Educate
We plan to provide on-the-ground training, but our main focus is lessons using the computers at the school the moment they arrive.
Four steps from your hands to a Colombian classroom.
You Donate
Schools, companies, and individuals ship us used Chromebooks — or contribute funds to cover logistics.
We Ship
Devices are wiped, refurbished, bundled with chargers, and securely transported to Colombia.
Partner Installs
Club Campestre de Cali handles delivery and classroom setup at receiving schools in vulnerable communities.
Lessons Start
Computers go straight into the classroom for hands-on lessons from the moment they arrive.
Small numbers, meaningful change.
Partner schools in Cali, Colombia
We partner with Club Campestre de Cali to make sure every Chromebook reaches vulnerable children attending public and state schools in Cali. Working with local partners lets us deliver, set up, and support classrooms where the impact is greatest.

Giving technology a second life — and giving students a first chance.
Chromebooks for Colombia began with a simple observation: every year, students at our school in Brooklyn outgrow their Chromebooks, while students just a few thousand miles away go without any computer at all. We decided to close that gap.
We are Arie and Hunter, students and the founders of Chromebooks for Colombia. What started as an idea between two classmates has become a real organization with a clear mission: to collect technology that would otherwise be set aside, refurbish it, and place it directly into the hands of students who need it most.
How it works
We collect donated Chromebooks from our classmates with the support of our school. Each device is carefully refurbished and prepared for a new life in a new classroom. From there, the laptops travel to Colombia, where they become research stations for students at Colegio José María Cabal in Comuna 18 of Cali — delivered through our partner on the ground, the Club Campestre Foundation.
Why Colombia
This work is personal. Arie's family is Colombian, and that connection is woven into everything we do. We are not sending technology to a place we've only read about — we are building a bridge between two communities we care about, in New York and in Cali.
This is just the beginning
This is our first year, and we are starting with one school, done well. But we believe in something bigger. Every Chromebook we deliver is proof that the things one community no longer needs can transform the future of another. As we grow, we hope to reach more schools, more students, and more classrooms — turning a small idea between two students into lasting change.
Our promise
Every device is refurbished with care. Every donation is used responsibly. And every student we reach is a reminder of why we started.
